Google says my account is Suspended. How do I get in?

If you are seeing an error message that reads, "Your account is suspended," it is likely because you have not yet accepted the Terms of Service.

If you have another Google account (such as a personal Gmail account), it can be a bit tricky to access the Terms of Service page. That's because your browser can get confused by the fact that you're already logged into Google as another user. So you'll need to open the link in a private (or incognito) window to Accept the Google Workspace Terms of Service. 


If possible, we recommend doing this using a computer, instead of tablet or smartphone. 



How to accept the Terms of Service from a computer

  1. Go to your website browser application (e.g., Chrome, Duck Duck Go, Safari, Firefox, etc.)
  2. Open a "Private" or "Incognito" window. You can usually find this option in the File menu on your browser, as shown here:

    If you use Safari with Password Keeper, you may not be able to right-click to open a new incognito window because the password keeper can interfere. Instead, right-click and copy the URL. Then open a new incognito window from the File menu at the top of your browser. Paste in the URL.
  3. In this new window, type this website address (URL): admin.google.com 
  4. Log in using the username and password for your new Google account
  5. Open a new private or incognito tab and enter this website address (URL): https://admin.google.com/AcceptTermsOfService
  6. Accept the Google Workspace Terms of Service

How to accept the Terms of Service from a tablet or smartphone

  1. Open your website browser app

  2. Open a private or incognito window (depending on your browser, either click the three dots in the upper-right corner or press and hold the Tabs button)
  3. In this new window, type this website address (URL): admin.google.com 

  4. Log in using the username and password for your new Google account

  5. Open a new private or incognito tab and enter this website address (URL): https://admin.google.com/AcceptTermsOfService

  6. Accept the Google Workspace Terms of Service
