Will cancelling my Google Workspace account impact my email?

It depends on whether you want to keep using Google Workspace.

If you want to keep your email working

Canceling through Jottful stops renewal. Your service continues until the end of your current paid term, when we’ll transfer your subscription to Google.

After the transfer, sign in to the Google Admin Console and set up billing with Google promptly to avoid an interruption.

The transfer keeps your existing Google Workspace account and email data. You normally won’t need to change your email app or connected software simply because billing moves from Jottful to Google.

If you want to stop using Google Workspace

If you don’t set up billing with Google after the transfer, service will stop after Google’s grace period. You’ll lose the ability to send and receive email through Google Workspace.

Save any emails, files, or other data you need before service ends. Don’t rely on Google retaining your data indefinitely.

If you’re moving to another email provider, set up your new service before Google Workspace stops.
