Why am I receiving domain renewal reminder emails?

Even if you have elected not to renew your domain, you will receive four domain renewal reminder emails from our domain registrar partner. 

All domain registrars are required to send renewal reminders to registrants 26, 10 and 2 days prior to domain expirations, and also 3 days after domain expirations.

Sending four reminder emails is required of all domain registrars by ICANN, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers. ICANN requires this of all domain registrars in order to make sure that people and businesses that have registered domains are fully aware of pending renewals so they do not lose their domain on accident.

If you do not wish to renew your domain, you may simply ignore these reminder emails.
