How secure are Jottful forms? Is the data encrypted?

When one of your website visitors enters information into a Jottful form, that data is encrypted "in transit," meaning that it's encrypted as it travels through the internet.
The data is not encrypted in the email you receive (your email inbox is secured by your email software provider and your use of a password) nor in the database where we store the historical form information (that is also secured through password protection).
We do not recommend you collect personal information via a Jottful form, such as a visitor's social security number.
