How can I make sales on my website?

There are several ways to make payment transactions on your website. This article will help you determine the best method for you.

Please note: all these options require your organization to have an online banking account. Businesses in restricted and prohibited industries (e.g., gambling, debt settlement) may not be able to set up payment processing.

Nonprofits accepting donations

We recommend Zeffy because they are free to the nonprofit. Many of our nonprofit customers use them. Learn more here >

If you are print-on-demand or you don't want to handle all the shipping yourself, we recommend you simply link to your online bookseller. If you do want to handle all the shipping yourself, explore the options below.

Businesses that are just starting to do online sales

We recommend you minimize your investment until you start to see significant sales on your website. At that point, you may want to upgrade to Jottful Payments or Ecwid. In the meantime, we recommend adding links and/or QR codes for Venmo, Cash App, and/or Zelle to your website. Simply set up your accounts with those vendors and then provide the links and/or QR codes to us; we'll then add them to your website.

Businesses that need a shopping cart for multi-item purchases

Jottful is integrated with the Ecwid shopping cart. Set up an account with Ecwid (pricing here) and then ask us to add it to your website.

All other businesses

We recommend Jottful Payments (requires you to be on our Grow or Pro plan; Let's Go! customers can upgrade). With Jottful Payments, you can accept payment on your website and it's fully integrated with your Jottful account. To learn more, contact your website builder or, if your website has already launched, reach out to our Support team at support@jottful.com.
