What to consider before adding a chatbot to your website

  1. Who at your company will be assigned to being online at all times to reply to these chats? It’s important that if you offer the ability to contact you via chat, someone is actually available to respond.
  2. If you’re considering an AI chatbot, will the AI be able to answer the common questions you receive? If your prospects often ask you to provide a quote for custom work, that’s not something an AI chatbot would be able to answer anyway. Make sure you use an AI chatbot only if doing so will bring real value to your website visitors.
