How do I transfer my domain away from Jottful?

We understand that you may need to transfer your domain to another provider. This guide will walk you through the process.
Step 1: Request Your Authorization Code
The authorization code (also called EPP code or transfer key) is required for the transfer.
- Simply contact us at support@jottful.com, and we'll provide your code promptly.
Step 2: Initiate the Transfer With Your New Registrar
Once you have your authorization code:
- Go to your new registrar's website.
- Start the transfer process and provide the requested information, including the authorization code.
- Your new registrar will send an email to confirm the transfer.
Important Notes
- Timeframe: Transfers typically take 5–7 days to complete.
- Domain Eligibility: Domains registered or transferred within the last 60 days cannot be transferred due to ICANN rules.
- Pending Renewals: If your domain is close to expiration, renew it first to avoid downtime during the transfer.
