How do I transfer my domain away from Jottful?

We understand that you may need to transfer your domain to another provider. This guide will walk you through the process. 


Step 1: Log in to tools.jottful.com/domains, find your domain in the section “Domains you registered with Jottful”, and click “Transfer to another registrar”.

The button will be disabled if you registered your domain in the last 60 days — transfers aren't possible during that period. If the button doesn't appear at all, please contact us at support@jottful.com, and we'll provide your code promptly.

  • After clicking the button, an authorization code (also called EPP code or transfer key) will appear, which is required for the transfer.
  • Once you have your authorization code, proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Initiate the Transfer With Your New Registrar
  1. Go to your new registrar's website.
  2. Start the transfer process and provide the requested information, including the authorization code.
  3. Your new registrar will send an email to confirm the transfer.

Important Notes
  • Timeframe: Transfers typically take 5–7 days to complete.
  • Domain Eligibility: Domains registered or transferred within the last 60 days cannot be transferred due to ICANN rules.
  • Pending Renewals: If your domain is close to renewal, allow it to renew first to avoid downtime during the transfer.
