Why doesn't Jottful offer a "parallax" scrolling effect?

We build our websites to work on all kinds of devices and web browsers.

As with other new and cutting-edge web technologies, the main downside is that not all browsers support the technology that parallax scrolling uses.

Other reasons we've chosen not to implement parallax include:

It can negatively impact a web page's search engine optimization (SEO), so your website does not show up as prominently in search results
It can make your website load more slowly, which can cause visitors to leave
